A Little About Me...

I have been a Realtor, licensed in both Iowa and Illinois since 2008. I have 16 years of experience in large and small portfolio property management. While I don't consider myself a property manager anymore, I manage my own rentals.

When I'm not involved in real estate, I enjoy spending time with my family. Born and raised in Bettendorf, most of my immediate family lives in the area. I've also been blessed to have a lot of my extended family in the Illinois QCA.

Things I like to do...

In the spring, gardening is my thing! I really enjoy planning the timing of when plants bloom and coordinating the colors. In the summer I usually pick an outdoor project to work on. I am more handy than the average bear, but am always learning more 'tricks of the trade'. I'm not afraid of most projects but have taken on some, that, while I feel accomplished to have completed, I would not likely do again!

In the fall and winter, I bowl on the John Deere bowling league; I started bowling there with my Dad. While I can't say I am a good bowler, I can say I've gotten slightly better since I started. In the winters, I also pick an indoor project. I really like to stay busy.

Between family life, real estate and my own hobbies... I stay busy!

Since being in real estate sales, I've had the pleasure of working with many different buyers and sellers and have sold various types of property. In this business, you meet many different people; I consider myself extremely lucky to have worked with many clients I now consider friends! It's very rewarding to be a part of what, for many people, is a significant life event. I consider it a big responsibility.

Working with my buyer clients, I find properties best fitting their desired criteria. I provide a full analysis of current and recent historical data, as well as general market information of all potential properties. Then, as a team, we can come up with an agreed upon offer, as well as an offer limit.

I offer strategic negotiating advice during the offer process, as well as anticipate potential Seller responses, to prepare the best plan of attack for the purchase; while looking out for long-term interests. I guide all my clients throughout the entire purchasing process, and make them feel at ease during this potentially stressful event.

I pride myself in responsiveness when it comes to communication with my clients.

SELLERS:
One of the great things about being a Realtor is all the different hats you get to wear! Representing my seller clients is a rewarding experience for me too!

Work with my sellers begins way before actually putting a property on the market. I prepare a full market analysis to evaluate a potential market price. We will evaluate this data as it relates to your specific property; taking all aspects into account. After this review, you'll see the value of my expertise.

Next, our discussion about marketability will include ways to increase your property's appeal to potential buyers and the development of a marketing plan customized to your individual needs.

Throughout my career, I've staged many residential homes and had marked success. Many times its been a matter of utilizing a clients' existing possessions/furniture in combination with a plethora of staging items I own. This service is available to my clients at no extra charge.

I will guide you through the entire process of your sale; specifically outlining every step.

Once a property is listed, there should be no surprises; as we've discussed the process and marketing plan. I will guide you throughout the selling process, communicating every step of the way; and making necessary adjustments, if needed.

Once an offer is received, I prepare a net sheet to show what could be expected as walk away money, given the current offer. After that, my role becomes very similar to when I represent buyers... I provide market information to help establish a likely sales price based on the most recent market data. I offer strategic advise to help secure the highest sales price the market supports and anticipate responses.

Whether representing buyers or sellers, I provide my clients with the relevant information needed to make the most informed decisions regarding the purchase or sale of their home. I have a proven track record, tools, technology, and experience to smoothly guide you through even the most difficult of transactions.
