Swartz Creek is a small city in Genesee County, Michigan. It was named after Benjamin Swartz, who was one of the founding settlers of the area. The city has a population of around 5,758 people as of the 2010 census. The city is served by Swartz Creek Community Schools which includes an elementary school, middle school, and high school. Swartz Creek also is home to a large park system which includes Elms Road Park and the Swartz Creek Golf Course.
