Melinda graduated as Salutatorian from Newton High School in 2007. She attended Jackson State University where she was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and earned her Masters Degree from UWA. She is married to Charles Seals, a member of the Army National Guard and local business owner. Together they have four boys, Noah, Connor, and twins Cullen and Maddux. Her family attends Saint John Missionary Baptist Church. She and her husband are home owners, residing in Newton. Melinda, Charles, and family co-own two commercial investment properties and several local businesses. She comes from humble beginnings and believes that everyone has the right to make their dreams of home and property ownership a reality. She is excited to help the community in which she comes from be greater together.
