Brad and Renee Carter are a husband and wife team along with Amy Whitehurst and Lauren Moye. Our number one goal is to represent our clients

With over 35 years of combined experience in the greater Greenville area, we pride ourselves on knowing the market inside and out along with a keen eye for detail when viewing properties for purchase or preparing properties to sell. Brad and Renee are a husband and wife team. Renee started her career with Aldridge & Southerland in 1997. Brad joined the team in late 2004.
Renee is a member of the Coastal Plains Association of Realtors, North Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Renee also obtained the coveted ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute) designations.
Brad is Greenville native and attended public schools including Eastern Elementary, South Greenville, Greenville Middle School, EB Aycock Junior High, and eventually graduated from JH Rose High School (barely). Brad is also a member of CPAR, NCAR, and the National Association of Realtors. After high school, Brad attended East Carolina University and received degrees in Criminal Justice and Construction Management. Brad is a licensed North Carolina
General Contractor for both residential and commercial building.
Renee also attended East Carolina University where she met Brad. Renee obtained her degree in Leisure Systems Studies but often felt her calling was to become a high school Guidance Counselor but was introduced to real estate by Brads mother, Sheri Carter who was also a broker at Aldridge & Southerland for well over 20 years.
Brad was asked to become a partner in June 2021 by Mike Aldridge, Don Southerland, and Jeff Aldridge. Brad still actively represents buyers and sellers along with handling additional duties.
The Carter Difference also has 2 licensed buyers agents that are absolutely AMAZING! Amy Whitehurst joined the team in 2008 and has represented hundreds of buyers that always sing her praises. She has a servants heart and loves helping people find the perfect home. Amys talents are endless and she is always one step ahead. Lauren Moye joined the team in 2022 and is the
epitome of organization! Lauren handles marketing through various social media posts. She has a great eye for style and has years of prior experience as a client care coordinator. Lauren is always ready to help buyers with any type of home in all price points. Lauren and husband, Brantley, are also entrepreneurs and opened a Simply Natural location in Morehead City.
