A dry stick worked great for drawing lines in the red clay of our Mississippi driveway. I was six. A symphony of cattle, guineas and summer breeze in the live oaks provided the sound track as I created the outline for my "one-day-dream-house." The great outdoors was my play station growing up and the floor plan of a four bedroom house, complete with kitchen, dining room, living room and bathrooms provided hours of imagination. Maybe I was born with real estate in my bones.
Then I grew up and married followed by many moving sales and sorting of memorabilia. Fifteen different homes throughout the South hosted our increasing family. The baby equipment had to be replenished three times after relocating. It is no easy task to leave behind the familiar and move to the unknown.
After pursuing many different entrepreneurial endeavors (playwright, producer/director, network marketing, business owner/operator, cookbook writer, blogger) while raising a family of eight, I branched into the real world of real estate.
