Before I settled in Hendersonville in the late 1990s, I grew up in south Florida and then lived in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and Wilmington, North Carolina. Western North Carolina has definitely won my heart, and I feel I will forever call it my home. If you have never been here, one of my favorite things to do is to share the experience of our eclectic, incredibly diverse, and beautiful area!As an outdoor enthusiast and hiker, I have seen the most gorgeous vistas, hidden lush green fern gullies, and secret refreshing swimming holes our beautiful mountains have to offer. My husband Bryan, a very inquisitive Asheville native, knows these mountains very well and has shared his love and experience of the area with me. We have also shared this love with our beautiful and equally inquisitive son, Casey, and daughter, Katelyn. If we are having an adventure, you can bet our lovable and plucky little dog, Oliver, will be with us.I also enjoy the culinary delights that our rapidly evolving restaurant and brewery scene has to offer. I love to just walk around one of our little towns with my family and friends and enjoy the shopping, people watching, and food. If Im not spending the day with people, I enjoy puttering around in my garden and growing my own organic vegetables. I have a passion for reading, and Im a member of a book club. My daughter shares my love of horses, movies, and the arts, and we enjoy spending time together doing those things. I have a rich and fulfilling spiritual life and love sharing that with others.
