Im a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Media and Journalism, and transitioned from a successful career as an executive with Greensboro N.C.-based Pace, the nations top content marketing agency. At Pace, I led business and creative teams for Fortune 500 clients in industries spanning travel, technology, retail and financial services. Throughout my career I have always found fulfillment in helping others achieve their professional and personal dreams.

On a personal level, after buying a vacation home in Carolina Beach in 2010 my husband and I realized we had found the community we wanted to live in full time and bought a home on Myrtle Grove Sound in 2015. I am active in our local community, volunteering with Island Women, Pleasure Island Parrot Heads, Cape Fear River Watch, Pleasure Island Sea Turtle Project, Island Arts Alliance and the North Carolina Coastal Federation. A scratch cook, I enjoy creating surf-to-table dinners for family and friends.
