Our family has been in the real estate industry since the 1970's. Working with my Dad is such a gift.. My brother is a respected home inspector and my husband has to put up with it all. I live in an older part of Omaha where the ice cream man still drives around, kids walk to the neighborhood pool and we still walk to school and to get ice cream. My favorite homes to sell are the older ones. While they're more work because of older issues, the character and detail of an era gone by intrigues me. Newer homes have their own special touch. Who wouldn't want a walk-in closet the size of my bedroom growing up?! I love to see new technology, new floor plans and new ideas come to life with new and newer construction. Development is good. Re-development is even better. Living in Dundee and being involved in my community allows me to specialize in the older neighborhoods by knowing first hand what's going on. Take that, almost 20 years of real estate myself and a geeky-nerdy excitement for architecture and restoration and you have yourself one heck of a realtor!
