Karina was not always a Realtor. In fact, she has had a fascinating life. She was born in Vietnam (her father was a United States naval officer) and moved to the United States as an infant. She has lived in Las Vegas for over 35 years and for part of that time Karina was a force in poker. Yes, she was, and is still considered a professional poker player.* But now poker has taken a back seat to her family (she and her husband have three children) and to her full time real estate career.

Does my experience playing poker translate to making me a better Realtor? I think so, especially in negotiating the best possible deal for both my buyers and sellers. Successful poker players play people, not just the cards, and that means being able to read people and guide them in to doing what you want them to do. Poker is all about people, and so is real estate, and that's one reason I enjoy it so much and work so hard at it, Karina said.

We live in a high tech world and that's greatinformation, sales aids, whatever we need to get the job done is available...but what we all crave is high touch treatment, and that is what I pride myself on providing to my clients.
