I've found that most people "don't care how much you know until they know how much you care". Embracing this philosophy has contributed to my professional (and personal) success.

Professionally, I have served Fortune 500 corporate organizations, and small privately owned companies alike.

My sales "career" began at age 8. I sold Girl Scout cookies door-to-door in a rural part of Monroe County. (I always wanted to earn the biggest cookie badge, so I really had to hustle. My mom and dad weren't the type to take the order sheet to work lol! So, I rode my bike from house-to-house in full Brownies uniform. When the weather got really bad my mom did have mercy and drove me from house-to-house. She always waited in the car at the curb. Thin Mints are still my favorite.) Then, in high school I sold enough citrus fruit to fund 100%+ of my annual WCCS band trip expenses. While working as a cashier at Wegmans, Hylan Drive, Henrietta, in the 1990s, a customer once said to me: "I think you will enjoy a very successful sales career someday." I thought that was so funny and crazy. Turns out they were right!

After earning my Master's Degree, I won my first "real" job in Knoxville, TN. I was a District Manager for Frito Lay. After serving Pepsi-Co for a couple of years, I moved into pharmaceutical sales. After pharma, I sold capital medical equipment. At the end of my corporate career, I sold multi-million dollar x-ray, MRI and CT equipment to C-Level Hospital Executives across Upstate, NY. Turns out it didn't matter if I was selling: cookies, fruit, snack foods, prescription pills, prescription dermatology products, external defibrillators, disposable medical supplies, or imaging equipment... I was always successful; and I always enjoyed the "process".

The skills I used and developed in "Corporate America" directly transferred to Real Estate sales. I love the real estate "process". Everyday, I get to help great people meet their real estate goals.

It's so satisfying to put a First Time Home Buyer into a great house, or help a seller client enter a new chapter of life. The price point doesn't matter. From a 65,000 dollar residential short sale in Leicester, NY to a 1,200,000 dollar horse farm in Nunda, NY... it's all challenging, and all satisfying.
