I obtained my real estate license in 1989 three decades ago!!! There is nothing that can arise in a real estate transaction that I have not encountered in the past 34+ years.

When selecting an agent there are several questions you should ask:

1) Experience - Nothing beats an agent with experience -- both in the number of years in the business and the number of homes closed.
2) Agent, assistant or team member Who will be actively involved and representing you every day in your transaction? Will the experienced agent you initially hired be your agent throughout the entire transaction or will you be passed off to an assistant or a team member and does that person possess a real estate license? Will that person have the same experience as the agent you initially spoke with? If you select me as your agent, you will deal directly with me. I will not pass you off to a team member or an assistant. I give each buyer and seller the personal time and attention they deserve with a custom one on one experience. I do not accept more clients than I can service. I will not allow my number of transactions to sacrifice the five-star service I provide to my clients.
3) Full-time, part-time or second job Many agents sell real estate part time or as a second job. I have been a full time agent for 34+ years. You do not want a part time agent representing you in your largest financial transaction.

I have earned many Realtor designations throughout the years and still attend numerous continuing education courses and seminars each year. This is necessary to keep me at the top of my profession. I attended numerous college level construction courses and passed the rigorous NC state General Contractors exam that is required to become a licensed General Contractor in that state. I was voted Home Builder of the Year Caldwell County in 2002. Knowing construction as well as the real estate market, I can assist you in avoiding many of the costly expenses many buyers and sellers experience when buying or selling a home.

I have a Bachelor of Science with a degree in Business Management and concentrations in Marketing and Finance. I conduct all my real estate transactions with the highest level of education and business ethics in the industry.

I live in Edmond with my yellow lab, Lucy. My son, Edward Smith is also a REALTOR and works along side me at Chinowth & Cohen.

Feel free to call/text/e-mail me at your earliest convenience and lets get started on the right track to a positive real estate experience.

I look forward to working with you.
