Just a little note to let you know that I appreciate your business. Through the years to have those of you whom I have worked for in the past come to me for repeat business means the world to me. My company has been in business since 1997 and through those years we have seen the markets soar and we have seen them fall. Good ole Bedford County, wanderlust could be my middle name, traveling is a real passion of mine, but it is always so sweet to come back into the Bedford County lines. Our location being just about 1 1/2 hours from Washington DC,Baltimore,even Pittsburgh, make this area a prime destination for both recreational and retirement. The fine homes that we represent are some of the best this county and surrounding counties have to offer. The elegance of the country estates that dot our area is breath taking beautiful, if you have a chance and an extra hour or two, just take the back roads that all lead to somewhere and see what I mean. Some with beautiful gardens and vineyards. Long lazy driveways, but all with views that are outstanding. Whether you are looking up at the Allegheny Mountains or enjoying the creek side in the valley, you will find peace and tranquility in these mountains. History, you name it, we probably have it, with the Lincoln Highway meandering through our county you will find so many items of interest, if you were planning on staying a day, make it a week-end. If you were planning on staying a week-end make it a day. The historical treasures that you will find will amaze you, none other than our very own Omni Bedford Springs situated on the outskirts of town. WE have forts,covered bridges,museums and culture, unsurpassed.This is the place they refer to when they say "back in the day" You will find unique properties for sale that you will not find anywhere else. Why, because we are still the small little towns and villages that you long for and our prices are still very enjoyable. Elsewhere you may find the same properties for twice if not more as much. Quaint villas, we have them just off the beaten paths, they are tucked into the countryside with the small B&B's and taverns that you no doubt have dreamed of when you think of a place to get-away and relax. Driving the back country roads, yes, many of them are still dirt you will find sprawling country ranches dotted with horses or cattle, cowboys aren't only in Texas. You might find around any given bend in the road a country homestead that will bring back the memories of the horse and buggy days. Back when time stood still once in awhile and neighbors took the time to get to know each other. We still have that here, as you are enjoying the countryside notice how many of the other drivers wave to you, just about all of them, and those who do not it is not because they wouldn't but they are probably deep in thought with other things on their minds. The rivers and creeks are remarkable. To fly fish in Yellow Creek, you will forget about time, just don't think about anything except enjoying the good life. Floating and canoeing on the Juniata River is another great pastime for many. Hiking,skiing,hunting on the many mountains, enjoying the good life. Culture,history,artisans,bazaars, we have it all.
