Raised outside Boston, I spent a decade in New York City, working as a book editor, before relocating to Providence, RI with my husbanda schoolteacherand our dog, Roxy. I received my BA with honors in English from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.

I am also the ownerand landlordof a two-family purple Mansard Victorian, built in 1887 and located in Mount Pleasant.
