I come from a real estate family. Growing up, my father Paul Fields was always finding unique property... developing it... and my Mom would sell it. In 1985, Dad purchased a peninsula sticking out into the clear blue waters of Norris Lake. Everyone thought that he had lost his mind, as nobody would possibly want to drive out into the "hills" to live on the lake. Well, 30 years later... it looks like Dad was right. That piece of property became Deerfield Resort, which is the focus of our real estate business. Today Deerfield boasts over 450 homes, numerous homesites, a 3200 foot airstrip, an 18 hole championship golf course, and 10 miles of Norris Lake's finest real estate.
