Shane Allman moved to East Texas from Dallas to attend Stephen F. Austin in 1991. He graduated in 1995 with a BFA, moved to Brookeland, and soon started his career as a full-time fishing/ duck hunting guide on Lakes Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend as well as a traveling tournament professional. During that time he met his wife Christy who had just graduated from SFA and was starting her Masters. They were married in May of 2000. After about 9 years of fishing for a living, Shane decided a change was needed and got his real estate license in 2004. Christy later joined him in real estate in 2007 at the same time Shane got his Brokers license. In 2008 they opened their own office on the lower end of Sam Rayburn and named the company Allman Company, REALTORS. In 2011 they opened a second office in Broaddus, TX and in 2013 they opened their 3rd office in Hemphill, TX. Shane & Christy have 2 daughters, Samantha and Cami and now live in Milam, TX. Shane is a 3rd generation realtor.
