I was born in and raised Cape Town, South Africa, the third of four children. Raised on a working farm with three brothers I learned to be competitive at an early age. I entered Real Estate in South Africa in 1996 and worked my way up to own my own successful Real Estate business, APC Consultants. We did property development including land sourcing, re-zoning, development planning, and sale of finished homes and commercial properties. But as the South African economy tanked in 2009 and interest rates skyrocketed to 36%, I was forced to close the business and moved to Muscat, Oman. In Oman I worked on Property Management, Travel, and Transportation for the very dynamic foreign worker population. From finding properties, to rehabilitating properties, to complete furnishings including kitchen and linens, to property improvements I did it all. I was also involved in international travel planning, vehicle leasing and purchasing, and local orientations. I met my husband there in 2014 when he was working on a Military contract. We resettled to The Coastal Bend in 2016 and I am now a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the Great State of Texas.
