Gregg was born in Louisiana and lived there through 1983 when he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from McNeese State University. He moved to Dallas to go to work in his family's accounting firm specializing in public housing. In 2001 he received his real estate salespersons license while working in the family business. Shortly after that he and his family relocated to Young County and has lived in the area since then. Real estate runs in his family, his father was a real estate developer while his brother and sister in law currently are brokers in Louisiana. Gregg is active in Archer City, where he currently resides. He previously served on City Council and remains actively involved in the community. He currently serves on the Royal Theater Board of Directors, produces music concerts there and plays in his church worship team.
