PRIOR LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
I am actively involved in community service and have been involved with several non-profit agencies. I was a volunteer at the Salt Lake Recovery Center for 10 years, serving as a board member for 8 of those years. During that time, I chaired two large fundraising events and co-chaired and participated in many other fundraising events. In addition, I was involved in grant writing, budgeting, and the review of financial statements.
I have also served as a board member, fundraiser, and event coordinator for the Interfaith Hospitality Network (now Family Promise), which provides temporary housing for homeless families.
Additionally, I have served on the board of the ARC of Little Cottonwood which provides treatment for support for people with depression and substance abuse problems. Currently, I am serving on the Audit Committee for The Road Home.
