John Mecke, a native of Philadelphia, PA where his family has lived for several generations while engaging in a variety of businesses including real estate development. His younger years were spent in Strafford, PA in the western suburbs of Philadelphia while he grew up learning to sail on Star class sailboats on the Elk River, one of the Chesapeakes main tributaries. He continued his sailing activities when in his late teens he acquired his first cruising sailboat he expanded his pursuit of sailing throughout the 70s and 80s as he moved from exploring the Chesapeake to the Great Lakes and then the length of Florida, finally returning to the Chesapeake in the mid to late 80s, which he always ranked as his favorite boating destination.
JOHN specializes in waterfront homes, inland homes, waterfront estates, waterfront land, carters creek, chesapeake bay and virginia transactions.
