Born and raised in Bombay, India, Shalini lived in several Asian countries before moving with her family to the United States in 1993. Speaking 3 languages, her experience includes working with Gulf Airlines in Bahrain, Saatchi & Saatchi Public Relations in Taiwan ROC and United Airlines Operations and Customer Relations in Hong Kong. Her career in Real Estate began in the USA in 1999. Her strong interest in the business prompted her to gain extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in broad spectrum of areas in the Real Estate field: traditional single family and multifamily sales, re-development, new construction and foreclosure sales.
In 2007 she founded her own brokerage firm, Silver Pine Real Estate and this year, 2014, she was selected by the National Small Business Administration to received the Connecticut Woman-Owned Small Business Person of the Year Award. In addition, Shalini also works with the Bridgeport Neighborhood Trust conducting educational sessions for First Time Home Buyers, and How to Sell HUD Homes for Real Estate professionals.
She believes in building strong relationships with her clients by tailoring her approach and services to best address her client''''s unique requirements through traditional and innovative marketing strategies.
