When I first drove through Pagosa Springs, 25 years ago on a road-trip through the Southwest, I sent my mother a postcard saying that Pagosa Country was the most beautiful place Id had ever seen and hoped that someday wed would both live there.
As it turned out, my folks retired from their careers in California in 2004, bought their dream home and moved to Pagosa Springs where they have been enjoying their retirement in this mountain paradise ever since.
While I visited my folks on yearly vacations, I always knew that someday Id call Pagosa Springs home as well. The small town atmosphere, breathtaking mountain scenery, unlimited outdoor adventures and friendly people where drawing me back to Pagosa year after year.
Ive been employed as a professional resort home builder for the past 20 years, the last twelve of which were in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. My career as a builder allowed me to meet and work with people from all over the world. The process of building custom homes for my clients was a very challenging and rewarding career, something I really enjoyed. However, as the clocked ticked away, I felt it was time for a change. I made the decision this year to retire from the building industry, move to Pagosa Springs and pursue a career in Real Estate. My dream of someday living Pagosa Springs, finally became reality.
Now that I have made the move to Pagosa , I just love it and I know you will to!
Recently, I have spent endless hours exploring the neighborhoods and backcountry of Archuleta County , determined to gain knowledge of all the properties in the MLS.
Always willing to travel, I will comb the region in search of my clients perfect home or land. I definitely enjoy helping my clients with their in-town transactions, but because of my love for the great outdoors Ill be right there with you when you want to explore the far corners of a rural property.

Then, I take the time to make sure you have all the information you need to make a wise decision. My habits of asking questions, listening carefully to answers, paying attention to details and following through to finish the job, probably stem from my years in the home building industry. Those habits served me well and assured my success . Now they assure satisfaction for my real estate clients. When Im not busy with real estate, I enjoys mountain biking with my Siberian Husky Luka, snow-skiing, hunting, fishing and many other outdoor activities that Pagosa has to offer. I also enjoy travel writing, photography and exploring the Colorado Rockies.
