A native of Chile, she received a PhD in Psychology from U. Central and began a clinical practice in Santiago. She moved to the US after an internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. She has worked for 10 years as a mental health counselor in St. Petersburg.
Real estate has been part of Maria's upbringing for as long as she can remember. Her family has been real estate investors for many years in Chile and she wants to continue in her family's tradition in the St. Petersburg/Tampa area.
She is a supporter of the local arts community, having been associated with the Tampa Museum of Art, and can be seen often at American Stage, where she volunteer.
She is practices yoga and enjoys travel and hiking.
