I love this work! I went into forestry because of my love of the outdoors. I graduated from Oregon State University in 1981 with a Forest Management degree (BS). My entire career has been in forestry. Among the many and varied responsibilities I've had in my forestry career with forest industry, participating in land transactions were among the favorites. Forest land real estate is a natural extension of forestry career.
Forest property is my niche! It is a unique property type that requires an understanding of the resource, future and current revenues, operational challenges and the potential to enhance the timber through management. I am a Society of American Foresters Certified Forester and a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters.
