Over 34 years helping singles, couples and families put down roots here in the wild west. We'll it's what I thought of Denver when our family moved here. Found out it's quite the cosmopolitan town after all!!
Realized I was a seasoned real estate pro, when one of my buyers turned to me and said "if you were my dad..." The Denver Area in 1986 had about 2 million residents, now in 2020, about 3 million plus residents and growing, so a lot of growth has happened and Denver is no longer a sleepy little city in the west. Denver Real Estate matured. The days of just shaking hands to seal a deal, putting some money down, or just writing an offer on 4 pages of a simple real estate contract are long gone.
Yes things are more complicated now; the lending, the real estate and other matters pertaining to the great American Dream "home ownership". Don't let this economic environment fool you, it's still a great opportunity for you and yours.
Denver Colorado is out of the housing slump, our market is shifting up. The low interest rates truly makes homes affordable compared to mid 2000s.
It's important to have someone who is current on What's happening locally and can talk about it and answer your questions to your hearts content.
