Cinthya was born in Mexico and moved to the United States at a young age. She lived in various small agricultural communities in South Florida, where she attended elementary, middle, and high school. While in high school she dualled enrolled at Edison State College (now Southwestern State College), where she earned her Associates in Arts degree, prior to receiving her high school diploma.
In 2014, she graduated from the University of Florida (UF) with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism, Parks and Recreation; a specialization in Hospitality Management; and a minor in Business Administration. She completed two professional internships during her undergraduate years in the non-profit sector (Florida Trail Association) and the hospitality industry (Davidson Hotels and Resorts). While attending UF, she experienced the challenges of rental housing options and decided to purchase a house. As a first time buyer, Cinthya felt underserved by the real estate professionals at the time. Her experience as a first time buyer inspired her to pursue real estate as a career, with the goal to provide the higher level of service and expertise that she felt was lacking in the industry. As a REALTOR, she strives to bring value to her customers by giving them data-based guidance, transparency in the real estate process, and effective communication.
Cinthya has been an active member of her community as a volunteer English Instructor for over six years. In her current role as the ESOL Program Director with the non-profit Community Health Equity Institute (CHEI), she is in charge of coordinating free volunteer-based English classes serving adult learners in Gainesville and surrounding communities.
Cinthya is passionate about sustainability and social justice issues. By striving to make Monarch Realty a leader in sustainable & equitable business practices in Gainesville, she takes a holistic approach to her professional and personal values. Outside of her professional and volunteer roles, she enjoys gardening, playing music (guitar/drums) and spending time with her family.
