Ryan returned to Bath County, Virginia with his family in 1985 leaving behind a banking career in Atlanta, Georgia. He and his wife Mary have two children and live in Warm Springs. Ryan's hobbies, fishing and running, have led him all over Bath and Highland Counties. His first-hand knowledge of the area makes his real estate work a labor of love. Ryan is a director of the Mountain Soil and Water District, treasurer of the Bolar Ruritan Club, a member of The Valley Conservation Council and is founder of the Jackson River Restoration Foundation. Ryan is also a licensed real estate broker in West Virginia.
