As a native of the Kalamazoo area with a background in home building, Steve Schreuder turned his knowledge of the housing industry into a career with Jaqua Realtors. He knows what people like in a home and strives to provide his clients with the best service possible. Steve was born and raised in Kalamazoo, and attended Western Michigan University where he received a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation he decided to work for his brothers company, Schreuder Construction. During this time he learned a lot about quality craftsmanship as well as what people are looking for when buying or selling a home. Steve felt that this experience led him to become a Realtor with Jaqua. He has been a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for seven years. Steve was also a board member and finance committee chair for Rotaract of Kalamazoo. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Kalamazoo Civic Theater and is a Trustee for the Kalamazoo Civic Foundation. He enjoys sports, especially playing golf. Steve's genuine and hardworking personality comes through when assisting his clients. Whether he is marketing a house to sell or working on finding a new family's dream home, Steve always leads by example.
