Enthusiasm and energy describe how I approach everything I do. As a former teacher, I loved challenging kids and helping them realize their potential. I understand the importance a home plays in the life of a family and have always been passionate about helping my friends make their houses into their dream homes and I am very excited to turn this hobby into a vocation. A little bit about my background. Raised on a farm near Gothenburg, I was raised with a work ethic that is second to none. Later I attended the University of Nebraska and earned a BS in elementary education and, seeking a new challenge, returned to school to earn a BS in secondary education from Chadron State College. I turned my love of learning into a career teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at North Star High School.
My hobbies include gardening, landscaping, and walking with my miniature dachshund, Oscar. My husband, Robb, and I are active in our church, enjoy Husker volleyball, and love finding new restaurants. We are learning about empty nest living with our two kids off at college.
