Lucy is married to renowned Chef Erwin Scheuringer of E&E Stakeout Grill (Belleair Bluffs) and they part-own Guppys on the Beach (Indian Rocks Beach). Their son, Kurt, studied computer science at UCF in Orlando. Lucy and her family own and work a number of rental properties including apartment houses, beach cottages, condos, and vacant commercial land, which qualifies Lucy to give practical advice on rental and investment properties.
