JoEllen is originally from Greenville, Illinois, a small town about 50 miles east of St. Louis in farm country. She traveled all over the continental United States as a child and then moved to Tucson, Arizona as a young adult. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees from The University of Arizona and raised two children a son and a daughter.
JoEllen led a very active life during the years she spent in Arizona and loves nature. She became an avid golfer and enjoys bicycling, gardening, hiking, snow skiing, and anything water related. JoEllen never thought she would leave Arizona, but her son and daughter-in-law moved to the Upstate, and JoEllen decided to join them after her first grandson was born. Now, she has two grandsons who keep her on the go!
JoEllen has successfully made the Upstate her home and welcomes the opportunity to help clients who are relocating and have limited knowledge about the area. She has many insights and lessons learned to share, including where to find real Mexican food!
