I discovered Garrett County as a teenager, vacationing here with my parents. After graduating from college, I looked for a way to live permanently in this beautiful part of the country. I managed our familys marina on Deep Creek Lake for 10 years, and eventually followed my father into the real estate business, ultimately becoming the broker for the company, before selling to my business partner. Along the way, in addition to renting boats to vacationers, Ive cleaned, managed, and owned vacation rental properties, bought land, built homes (both with my own hands and subcontracted), served on numerous committees for the local and state Realtor Associations, and participated in Garrett County economic development study groups. Professionally, Ive worked with buyers, sellers, developers, and rental property owners. Through these experiences, Ive been a tourist, a resident, a participant in local policymaking, and of course a Realtor and this helps me to know and appreciate Garrett County from many perspectives.
I joined Railey Realty in 2018, and am glad that Ill finally have the opportunity to work closely with my daughter-in-law, Jessica Seib, and her father, Rich Orr, and brother, Nick Fratz-Orr.
