My Past Journeys
I am a first generation American on my mothers side and my father was in the military. When I was four, we were stationed in Panama, my mothers home country! During the day, my grandmother (abuela) watched me and my cousins. My abuela taught me Spanish and I learned to love Panamanian food and embrace the culture! These unique experiences gave me a special appreciation for helping others realize their American dream of home ownership.
I have been married for 30 years and have two beautiful daughters, a fantastic son-in-law, and one amazing granddaughter! We live in Cascade, Colorado where I also run a B&B (Retreat at Chipita Park). We love sharing our home with those who only dream of living here! In my down time, I love reading, painting, tending to my chickens, parrot, and 4 dogs. I love skiing, hiking, kayaking, and hope to try my hand at snowboarding soon!
As an educator for more than 17 years in the states of Colorado, Florida, New Hampshire, Alabama, and Virginia, I know the importance of finding a home with an exceptional school system and supporting community that meets your familys needs.
As a military child and 26-year military spouse, I have moved over twenty times! Additionally, a Colorado Vibes baseball game is a great way to spend time with family and friends! The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS), Colorado College, and Pikes Peak Community College afford many opportunities for higher education. Colorado Springs is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. As a result, buying and selling a home may present unique challenges...and rewards!
