An Educator by trade, I approach the buying and selling of homes from an education perspective. In today's market, with extensive resources available in the palm of our hands, Buyer's and Seller's of Real Estate can access a plethora of information. I assist my clients in deciphering and demystifying that information so they can make good decisions with confidence.
Acting as a partner and facilitator to my clients, we can successfully navigate the road of home buying and selling together.
Hailing from a small rust belt town in South Central Wisconsin a great wanderlust instilled in me in childhood through family vacations led me to migrate west as a young adult and settle in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. It was there I developed a deep love of the ocean, nature, learning, and my beautiful wife Deanna.
My first experience with tropical climates was during an internship at AUSTROP, Cape Tribulation, North Queensland, Australia in 2008. It was a time of firsts; first time swimming in warm ocean waters, first time snorkeling, first time caring for giant fruit bats. I was certain when I left there that someday I would return to live full-time in the tropics.
A vacation to Hawaii Island in 2015 to escape the cold and rainy Oregon winter morphed into a dream of a new life on the Islands. Three years and a couple of vacations later, I found myself homesteading on four acres of land on the Hamakua Coast of Big Island. I rooted myself in the community through work at Paauilo School as a substitute teacher and enjoyed acting as the school's Swiss army knife, filling the holes that developed on any given day.
The 2020 pandemic thrust my wife and I to the Leeward side of Big island and fate and a great REALTOR helped us land in the beautiful community of Waikoloa Village. It was in this transition that I turned a lifelong love of homes and land into a new career in Real Estate. Entering the business as a Transaction Manager, my colleagues urged me to become an agent. I took their advice and am grateful to be of service to my community as they navigate buying and selling homes on Hawaii Island.
While my area of specialization is Waikoloa Village, I have enjoyed assisting clients in the communities of Waimea, Kailua-Kona, Hamakua, Hilo & Puna. Please feel free to reach out if I can be of service.
