Raised on the shores of Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota, Lauri developed a love for outdoor activities and sports from an early age. Her passion for skiing led her to Colorado, where she met her husband, Mike, while working as a Ski Instructor at Keystone. They eventually settled in the picturesque town of Pagosa Springs and opened their first real estate brokerage.
Lauri's expertise in technology, organization, and creativity complements Mike's deep industry knowledge and exceptional communication skills. Lauri is a relationship-oriented professional who takes the time to know her clients well, guiding them along the best path to achieve their real estate goals. Committed to giving back, Lauri serves as a Director of the Pagosa Tourism Board and local preschool Seeds of Learning. She is currently the President of the regional MLS Board and has volunteered for numerous school and community non-profits, contributing positively to the region's present and future.
Her brightest star is their son Gabriel, currently finishing his sophomore year at ASU where he is majoring in Business and Supply Chain Management. He serves in Student Government and the W.P. Carey Business Planners. He was a Pagosa Springs High School All-State X-Country Runner placing 9th in State, he is a musician, a fabulous cook, and winner of the Dances with the Pagosa Stars, an annual fund-raising event for a local pre-school program. Gabriel adds his positive energy and enthusiasm to the Engel & Volkers team during summer breaks from college.
