I am a full time, full service real estate professional with a relationship-based approach to my business. Im proud to say that the majority of my business is from referrals and repeat clients because my involvement with my clients doesnt end when the transaction closes. I also work hard to build relationships with lenders and other agents because those contacts are valuable assets when buying and selling a home.

I am busy enough to be happy and successful, but not so busy that I cant take an active interest in every client. The sale or purchase of your home is as important to me as it is to you. My goal is to do such a good job that you will be delighted with your experience and will refer me to your friends, family and co-workers.

Sowhat makes me different from all the other agents out there? Good question. Its the combination of my experience, my values and my skill set that makes the difference.

Marketing and Technology
According to the National Association of Realtors, 92% of buyers begin their search for a home on the internet. Therefore, it is critical to have an agent who knows how to market your home in the Information Age. My previous careers in Marketing and Information Technology gave me a solid foundation, but I continuously take classes to stay abreast of the latest tools for online marketing.

New Construction
Before becoming a licensed Realtor, I worked for the largest builder in Richmond selling new homes. Their sales training program is widely considered the industrys best. During my tenure I was named Rookie of the Year and received awards for Outstanding Customer Service. I have an in-depth knowledge of the construction process and the different challenges of building a new home versus purchasing an existing home.

Relocation
Having moved three times in six years before settling in Richmond, I acquired a unique perspective on the challenges of relocating. I truly understand what my clients are going through when they have to leave everything they know to move to an unfamiliar city. I genuinely care about helping them get acclimated to their new home in Richmond.

Continuing Education
Real estate is a fast-paced and ever changing industry. What was true yesterday may not be the case tomorrow. Due to the constant changes in state and federal regulations, financing programs, best practices in construction and innovations in technology, there is always something new to learn. Realtors are only required to take 16 hours of continuing education in a two year period. I take at least four times that amount to stay current and serve my clients best interests.

Tara specializes in first time buyers, new construction, relocation and move up buyers and sellers transactions.
