Since I can remember early on in my adult life, I have had a passion for real estate. I had found properties for my friends, family members and myself. And because I was raising a family, I knew I couldnt devote the kind of time a realtor must have to offer full service to potential clients. In January 2003 I obtained my license and have since grown to top 1% last year amongst other Coldwell Banker agents Nationally.
In 2006 I was offered the opportunity to work with an agent who was in the business for over 30 years and primarily handled Fannie Mae foreclosures. I quickly picked it up and learned from her and within a year, she retired and handed this business over to me. With the market at a slump, short sales coming to light, foreclosures were becoming more popular. Currently I am one of two primary Fannie Mae agents for Tallahassee and surrounding areas and I handle inventory all the way to St. George Island, as far east as Quincy and west to Madison. The idea of listing properties in areas I would have not known about otherwise not only increases my knowledge but allows me to give better assistance to potential customers too.
Other specialties include Horse properties and Land only purchases. I am an avid horse person myself and it can be hard to find horse ready property if you work with an agent who is not a horse person themselves and doesnt have a clue what to look for. My experience in this area can help a newcomer to Tallahassee explore the areas of town best suited for their lifestyle and farm animal needs.
