Greylin represented us as first time homebuyers for our cross country move from Los Angeles to Washington, DC. He was recommended to us by our Mortgage Loan Officer and we couldn't have asked for a realtor with more knowledge, better experience, or much appreciated empathy while always considering our best interests above all else. We didn't know how much we wanted to spend, what neighborhood we wanted to live in, if we wanted a condo or row house, or even when exactly we wanted to move when we had our first FaceTime call. Greylin helped us develop a plan and quickly hone in on properties of interest from more than 200 available homes that matched our minimum required wants and needs. Being in Los Angeles while buying a home in DC definitely had its challenges, but Greylin made the experience so easy and seamless for us by researching the pros and cons of properties in great detail, responding to our 100's of questions and comments on buildings, condos, and houses, combing through COA docs for pet policy information, and he even spoke to multiple neighbors about their experience in a building we liked. Greylin took us on FaceTime tours and pointed out what he heard, saw, felt, and even smelled to help us feel like we were walking through homes in person --- and he was fantastic. Greylin always gave his honest opinion and feedback on properties even when he knew it would disappoint us; He did what needed to be done and said what needed to be said. The few times my partner was able to make a stop in DC while traveling for work, Greylin helped set up showings or inspections that fit his tight schedule. Greylin made the most out of every phone call, every FaceTime showing, and every trip to DC. Once we found a condo we loved and were ready to make an offer, Greylin talked us through the process of what to expect and what things we should or should not ask for. He went back and forth with the seller's agent several times, hopped on calls with the HOA president, met with our Mortgage Loan Officer to brainstorm a creative offer, and in the end was able to get our offer accepted! Greylin works with the best Inspector in town who found several items that we later found out were missed in other units of our building when they had inspections done. Greylin set us up with a wonderful Title Agency and had an addendum in place to provide us with financial insurance that all inspection and blue tape walk through items would be completed by the seller within 30 days of closing; It paid off! If you are looking for a realtor who will pick up the phone, respond to calls and emails, knock on doors, speak to neighbors, and do the real work of making sure you find your dream home --- put your trust in Greylin. He's checked up on us several times since closing, has stopped by to help us with the builder, and provided us with wonderful recommendations for painters, electricians, and blinds. Greylin guided and supported us through our first home buying experience and we can't wait to work with him again for our next home.
