We will never work with Casey Watters again. She listed our house for us and insisted that she would take care of anything that came up as we were moving to WA state. The weekend we listed the property we had 5+ showings. She represented the first buyers. We didnt think much of that as we assumed she would have our best interest at heart. After they saw the property she called us and told us they were making us an offer and we needed to think about accepting it asap without a written offer. We told her we werent comfortable with that especially because we wanted to give the rest of the showings a chance. She was pushy. Before we signed any documents she told the other agents we had an accepted offer, which we didnt, and they all cancelled their showings. The day after we accepted their offer she wanted to have a three way call with us and the buyers to go through the condition report. A week before the closing was supposed to happen she emailed us telling us that the buyers were going to not go through with the closing if we didnt mow our lawn. Please note we didnt have a grassy lawn. We lived in the country and had moss and wild flowers. We didnt mow our lawn at all when we lived there. Unfortunately we explained we were now in WA and had no way of doing this and if they were really going to back out of the contract due to this we would just relist it. She finally said she would handle it. That was the last time she personally contacted us. I had high hopes that this would be a great working relationship because everyone else seemed to think so highly of her but at the end of it all we felt she only had the best interest of her wallet. The whole situation should have been exciting and instead it was just upsetting. I would not recommend Casey nor would we ever work with her again. 2021
