Selling our house with Jacobs and Co realty was an awful experience. Our agent Lori seemed like a pleasant person at first but the problems came soon after we started the process. First off we were inexperienced selling so we looked to her for guidance on how to price the home and what we needed to do to get it ready. She went in way too high making it difficult to draw in buyers. When we confronted her with this she told us that we had picked the price and she was just doing what we said. Lie number 1...she was the person who said she was comfortable with the "sweet spot " price. After only getting a small handful of prospective buyers through the door during 2 open houses she suggested dropping the price. Again no help from her. We dropped it 50k. After 21 days we had one offer but the buyer was not willing to accept our contingency of a two month rent back. We asked Lori to go back to the buyer and ask them for either more time or more money. She refused to do either and told us that this was a good offer and if we didn't accept it on their terms they would "drop us like a hot rock" and we may not get another offer. So since we had already had put a down payment on land in Texas we went ahead and agreed. We are willing to accept the fact that ultimately we agreed to the buyers terms but we hired a relator to be our advocate. We did not get that with Jacobs and Co. When we talked to Scott Jacobs about our experience he didn't offer any help whatsoever to make it right. So we are now homeless with all of our belongings in a moving and storage facility and a 6x12 U-Haul trailer which we parked in a neighbors driveway while we wait for our rental property to be ready in Texas. Selling your home is a emotional time. We trusted Jacobs and Co to guide us through this process and to help us make it as painless as possible. Unfortunately in this case all they were concerned with was their commission. They didn't give one thought about us or our situation.

Truly a 5 star when it comes to real estate. I have dealt with many realtors over the years, Scott is exceptional. No games, just a comfortable professionalism. My sale was quick, simple and everything about it was better than I had thought possible.
I purchase a house from Scott early this year He was so professional I end up hiring him for my second transaction. He sold a house for me just in 2 days with a full asking price asking price.I can't even describe how elated I am! I couldn't have asked for a better agent. There is not one thing I would change about the services I received because everything worked out perfectly! I would recommend him to everyone I know. He was so attentive and answered all of our questions. I never had to wait around for him because he always got back to us as soon as possible.
I loved working with Scott and his team and I would definitely do it all over again!
