Jamie Morris is a phenomenal person and realtor. My husband and I have worked with a few realtors to buy and sell houses, and Jamie surpasses them all. We worked with her for over a year and a half to buy our new home in Bloomington. We were relocating for my husbands job but only lived an hour away, so although we wanted to get to Bloomington as soon as possible we had the flexibility of waiting for the right home for us. I lost count of the number of homes we viewed with Jamie, but it was at least 20 homes in and around Bloomington and as far as Nashville. In the end we put FIVE offers on four different homes in Bloomington. A couple fell through because the market is super competitive in the area where we were looking and we had a contingency to sell our home first, and two fell through after inspections revealed extensive work to the foundation or inner structure and associated repairs that couldnt be detected on a walk through. Jamie stood by us through it all with a positive attitude and continuously assured us that everything would work out the way it was meant to.
Not only would we recommend Jamie to anyone looking to buy a homewhether its your first or fifth homebut my husband and I would not want to go through the home buying (or selling) process again without her, and heres why:
Jamie is SUPER responsive (we always heard back from her the same day, or hour, after reaching out even if it had been a few weeks since our last communication, but ALMOST ALWAYS Jamie responded within minutes of calling or texting); Jamie comes from a family of realtors and builders, so not only was she WELL equipped to represent us on the real estate transaction, but also in every home we looked at she pointed out several things we either missed or didnt think to consider, especially related to the structure and condition of the home and grounds, including possible moisture issues, structural issues, areas that might be worth upgrading or adding on later to increase the value of the home, and the list goes on; In the super competitive price range and area where we were looking in Bloomington, Jamie was accommodating to meet to show us a house even if the request was the same day, as often wed want to see a home the same day it was listed; She researched and sent additional information about the homes and often the land plot as we wanted over an acre of land; And when it cane time to write an offer, she expertly guided us through the offer/counter offer stage, as well as the inspection responses, which coincidentally often fell on holidays or days she was out of town.
But the main thing we came to appreciate about Jamie is her honesty and integrity. In a super competitive business, she holds true to her values, does everything above board, and not once did we hear her speak poorly of another realtor. I contacted Jamie in the summer of 2016 when our lease was expiring on our rental home. I knew it was time to buy a house but somehow we had ended up looking for a home in the most desirable price range at a peak time in the market. Supply was slim and homes were being sold same day. Jamie was instantly on the hunt for us. She had so much insight, that as a first time home buyer I felt more than equipped to make an educated decision. It's hard to describe Jamie's unique ability to put herself in your shoes. She is 100% involved in your showings, never talking on the phone or texting but always present and involved.
