We put our home of 39 years on the market recently, and we reached out to Seth well in advance to discuss the process. Seth was amazing to work with. At initial meetings, he helped us to outline our terms and to figure out the timing of preparing the house for listing. He prepared exceptional marketing materials, visited several times so that he could understand the condition of the home and its care over the years. Seth did not suggest staging the house; his approach was to showcase the house and to display its positive qualities. He helped us to determine an asking price that was appropriate and that we were happy with. When he took people through the house, he offered the potential buyers a comprehensive understanding of the historic nature of the house and the neighborhood. Our children were wanting to be involved in the process, one from out of state, and Seth handled these communications smoothly and efficiently. Our daughter said that she felt he always had our best interest in mind, which was comforting when she could not be physically present to advise them.
Seth handled all of the details for the sale, and he helped us to determine the details of the sale package: what was included, what was not included, ages of appliances, etc. We know that he did a lot of behind-the-scenes work that we were not even aware of which paved the path for a smooth process. We feel that he really helped the buyer understand the terms of the sale and what they were getting. He took a lot of pressure off of the whole experience for us, which was amazing. In the mid-1980's, we had sold our previous house by owner, but after working with Seth we truly understand the value of working with a knowledgeable and professional realtor.
Once we had a buyer, Seth made the closing process pleasant. Throughout the entire process, he was never pushy, and he always listened to us and allowed us to set the pace where that was important for us. He was a calming presence in what can be an emotional and stressful experience, and we cannot thank him enough for his professionalism, his care and his attentiveness. 2023
I don't think I could speak more highly of Seth and his abilities as a Realtor. It was early 2021, at the height of the market, and I was on a tight deadline to buy a home before my lease ran out. He was with me every step of the way, searching, and viewing homes (it was crazy, we looked at 30+ homes and put offers on many of them). I was getting really discouraged, but he kept the best attitude and just kept reminding me the the missed opportunities were not for me, and when the right one came along I would know it, and everything would work out seamlessly. When we finally walked into just the right home, I think he knew before I did, that it was just the right place for me and he worked diligently and professionally with myself, my loan company, and the sellers representative to convey my desire for this home and we were able to get the home at a fair price (especially considering the market at the time). He is incredibly responsive and helpful, and you wont regret working with him. Its almost two years, later and I still love my home, neighborhood, and neighbors! 2021
Seth is fantastic to work with. Unlike other realtors, Seth isnt just trying to sell you a house. He is trying to sell you a HOME. Besides telling you all the great things about a property, he is 100% transparent and tells you all the negatives about a property as well. There were numerous times he informed me of something I never would have considered or thought about until after I would have moved in.
