Dont waste your time with "independent" agents that do not have a real home office. We made this mistake with our fitst agent. Our first agent was really nice but they were an independent agent that did not have the resources of home office. We lost out on potentially tens of thousands because we did not have the right advice in those crucial first few weeks of listing our home. We fumbled around for about two months before we decided to make a change. Matt and Guy met with us and gave us sound advice on the little things we needed to do to the house to make it show better. They were knowledgeable and honest. They held open houses every weekend and the house was sold in 20 days! Consider this: when you are hiring Matt you are hiring an agent that has a home office staffed with a whole team of full time professionals. If only we had started off with them, I honestly believe we could have sold our house for much more. Do your self a favor and really interview any potential agent before signing up with them and dont select an agent because they are a friend of a friend.
