First of all, I would recommend Betsy to anyone in the New Orleans area who wants to sell their home. My first meeting with Betsy was in July 2019 when a family member had passed away, leaving me with a home to sell in English Turn. At the time, the market was not good and the house needed considerable repair and renovation to make it marketable. I lived in Arizona, so I was an out-of-town seller. Over the next nine months, while we were dealing with the estate matters, Betsy kept in touch with me. In spring of 2020, COVID hit so I had to find a way to handle the work at the house remotely. Betsy and I began putting together a plan and getting repair and reno people contracted. She helped me to pick out lighting, mirrors, shades, carpeting, granite, fans, appliances, tile, colors---everything. Then she carried out my preferences and decisions. She was amazing because there were what seemed like hundreds of decisions that had to be made on the house, from exterior to interior, to AC, landscape, etc. She was great to work with and I found she had a good eye for what looked right for the interior design while keeping within reasonable budget. She always gave me options and then took my decision and made it happen. Betsy regularly supervised on site each step of the way and provided the vendors/contractors with guidance and quality control. At the same time, she and I were in touch multiple times a week by phone to review everything being done and status, new issues, etc. She then translated this to the vendors. In total, this arrangement occurred for about year. The house turned out beautiful! When I visited again in summer 2021, I was delighted and couldn't believe the transformation! As a result, the house sold far above what I ever thought we could get! Betsy went way above and beyond for me, and I'll always be grateful to her for all her help and great work! Recommend her at the highest level!
