I made the mistake of using Delroy and Southebys to help me purchase a 2.5 million dollar home in Cherry Hills. The entire process was a nightmare. Delroy did absolutely nothing. Part of my contract stated the house was supposed to be painted a certain color and when I noticed it wasnt Delroy lied to me and said he confirmed with the sellers it was the color I chose. He then told me the flooring was hardwood after asking multiple times if the floors were hardwood he confirmed they were. I asked him multiple times because he knew I was going to renovate the entire home and I wanted to just sand and refinish the floors. When contractors came to begin the remodel they confirmed that the floor was not hardwood but rather laminate flooring that had been laid on top of tile. At the time of my closing Delroy was nowhere to be found I had to do my own leg work to get the keys to the property. After making $70k in commission I didnt even receive a congratulations or thank you. These people are lazy and deceitful. They claim to he luxury home professionals but they are not. Literally after my closing they stopped all communication with me. They took their check and ran. Now I have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to replace the flooring, Ive spent thousands in attorney fees to sue. They couldnt even try and figure something out they forced me to have my attorneys take action, so now Im in the middle of having my attorney file lawsuits and having to deal with investigators aT the Colorado Department of Revenue Real Estate Division 2021
