I was dealing with a move from New York, so wasn't always able to be in the area. I was looking for a broker who had knowledge of the area and homes for sale, so she could guide me in the process remotely.

Chris provided me with comparable as well as extensive information for the various areas I wanted. It took a while, but with patience we found the right place at the right price.
Chris is a total professional - she knew the community Sun City Center extremely well and was always willing to meet us at any time to look at a property. She guided us smoothly through the paperwork that had to be done and gave us steps to follow successfully. Our only issue was the market values of homes. Chris was going to market our condo at a lower price - based on recent comps. But comps no longer applied in the crazy 2021 market. We pushed to raise the price $25,000 more than the comps and actually made $13,000 above that because the buyers didn't want a price war (and there would have been one). We found ourselves outbid on several properties in Sun City Center. Chris continued to provide us with other available places. A little pushy on us purchasing in Kings Point, but that's where we eventually bought. This time, Chris offered us the opportunity to bid in a manner that would allow us to compete with higher bids. Our timing must have been right because our first bid was accepted! The process had been a little nervewracking with our place being sold and not finding something for a while. Chris kept at it and we had a successful conclusion. The price was better than we expected after seeing much higher offers we'd made on other properties being outbid.
We had already moved out of the home and out of the area, so Chris dealt with everything onsite and all transactions were dealt with electronically. Chris was great, she kept us informed at all times. The whole process was quick and went smoothly. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone selling or buying a home, and we can't thank her enough for all her hard work!
When I decided to move back to Florida, Chris was recommended to me my a friend of mine who was living in Sun City Center.I was only in town for a week and within a 3 day period we looked at 24 houses, of which 8 to 10 were in one day. With Chriss expertise and help I did purchase a lovely home. A year later I found that I needed to return to New York, permanently. Again I engaged Chris and she sold my home in less than one day..I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking to either buy or sell a home.

Chris Spooner lives in SCC, familiar with the community, neighborhoods, and varying HOA requirements. She relocated to SCC for her mother's health... similar to my own needs to be away from the severe winters in NY State.
She also had to grasp my sincerity about desiring a home in SCC, yet understand my severe financial limitations. She was patient about that. The online portal really let me find my own condo, without Chris that still wouldn't be possible.
Chris is a great sales agent. She is even able to be a bit pushy without any scolding, or being intimidating, or condescending to get the paperwork and all completed urgently.
She has a really great balance of talent in all these categories. She's kind.
