My husband and I attended Suzie's First Time Home Buyer Class in October of 2015. We learned SO much at this event and it was completely free!! Once we were completely ready to begin the home buying process, there was no doubt in our minds that we would use Suzie. She made the showings fun, educational, and made sure we did not try to purchase a house that wouldn't be right for us. As first time home buyers, my wife and I had absolutely no idea how to get started. My wife found a first time home buyers seminar in Torrington, and suggested we attend. It turned out to be the best possible thing that could have happened to us. The shear amount of information presented in the seminar was staggering, and many things that we thought we knew about purchasing a home were debunked as common mistakes. Suzie was able to cover every facet of the process, and the members of her Dream Team each offered their expertise on their own particular areas. We left the seminar with a plan, as well as the people needed to help pull it off. Throughout the search for a home, and the approval for a mortgage, we were constantly coached and aided whenever necessary. Ron Barrante was extremely useful in helping us to understand the financial aspects necessary to purchase a home, and to help us choose the best course of action for obtaining a mortgage. Dan Cisowski has to be the most meticulous home inspector on the planet (I think we're still going through his detailed report even after purchasing the house). When it came time to negotiate repairs and the sale itself, Suzie fought for every last bit and our house was immaculate when we were ready to move in. Everyone was readily available anytime (weekends included) to answer questions or let us know where we stood in the process. We went to a seminar in October of 2015 and we closed on our house June 13, 2016. I cannot recommend highly enough to ANYONE (particularly first time home buyers) how wonderful Suzie has been for us.
