Absolutely horrible human being want to stay as far away as possible. If you're looking for someone who's honest, professional, and well worth your time you're looking in the wrong place. I had zero experience with buying or selling a pre-existing home back in 2017 when I found myself needing to sell my house in Spring Hill, Florida, and relocate to Ohio. Boy, was I glad I found Horizon Palm Realty! Liz Piedra and her team are nothing short of highly qualified professionals. I am a perfectionist by nature, so I tend to be highly detailed oriented and notice just about everything. Still, my experience with Liz and her team was a good one. I was impressed with her corporate background and experience and noticed right away that this lady "knew her stuff!" Since my home was on a corner lot next to a busy street, Liz recommended right away that we use two signs rather than one. I was especially impressed that these turned out to be solar-lighted signs, making my home's listing easily viewable even to nighttime traffic! Cheryl was my main contact person in the office, and she was quick to call or e-mail anytime a question or a new issue came up. When some unusually high winds blew both of my "For Sale" signs right off their posts, I notified Cheryl and they were fixed right away. Liz and her team use professional photographers and high-quality color brochures in their marketing, not to mention that the folks at Horizon Palm stay up-to-date with all the new computer marketing techniques available online these days. My home was being showcased online with great pictures, relevant data, and 3-D virtual "touring" capabilities. I received my first offer quickly, but the first buyer's financing fell through. Liz and her team quickly relisted my home, and I ended up with 3 competing offers in a relatively short amount of time, resulting in my full asking price. Liz, Cheryl, Bobbi are AMAZING! we used Horizon to sell our vacation home property with them.
Now we use to rent it as a vacation short term let property with another company, this then turned in to snow bird rental - and then long term rentals, to start with it was OK, then things began to get bad! (not with LIZ / Horizon but with the other company) Things like not receiving rent, not being maintained - charging for things not done etc.
Anyway long story short We decided to sell the property and got Liz to list it - as well as cleaning the MESS from the other so called management / rental / real estate professional. Within a week an offer was received and accepted.
Now unknown to us the other "Real Estate Professional" and i use that term loosely - filed a lis-pends and claim for monies she said was owed! (not we own nothing and have actually never in the 7+ years it was managed received ANY Monies from her!
so this put a massive spanner in the works of selling the property and it took almost a year from the buyer placing an offer to being able to finally close of the property!
Liz and her team were GREAT and were a massive HELP! they patience & diligence were 2nd to none! As well as the advice and help they gave in the issues we were having, They also re-assured the buyer who then became a Tennant in waiting to purchase also - so he didn't loose out on the property and we didn't loose out on a buyer!
I would have no hesitation in using them again to sell or purchase property and would advise anyone looking for a honest, reliable and respectful company! you won't go far wrong!

I learned the hard way that, "Not all realtors are created equal." Our home was listed with another realtor for 6 months without even a single offer. I then did my due diligence and my efforts led me to Liz. I had assumed that with the internet and MLS that selling my home in what I was told to be a buyer's market would be a snap...NOT HARDLY!!! The days of putting a sign in the front yard and listing on MLS are over. It's all about marketing and pricing. It took a little longer to get the listing finalized with all of the extra marketing like drone view, professional photography and more, but the bottom line: on day 12 we got our 3rd offer and it was for full listing price. My only regret was not doing my due diligence on day 1!!! THANK YOU LIZ AND CHERYL.
