There are not enough words to express how incredible Megan is as a realtor! Megan Alexander is by far the best real estate agent I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I sat down with the intention to write the best review she has had. So, I read a couple of her reviews to get a feel for other peoples opinions, Well they are all great, apparently everybody thinks the same about Megan, as our family does. If you are in hurry I can save you some reading time, all of Megans reviews are 5 of 5, and filled with compliments and great referrals, notice her overall rating is a nice clean 5, you cant get any better than that. When I said, the best realtor I have had, keep in mind that I have sold or been involved in 3 home sales, and bought or been involved in 4 purchases since August of last year, not to mention the rest of my 45 adult years. No other agent has come close to her work ethic, negotiation skills, project and people management skills, communications skills, coordination skills, even photography skills, not to mention a great personality. All of this combined to make the toughest real estate deal of the seven deals this year (probably of my life, the corona virus didnt help), come off as the easiest on my end, even in the middle of the corona virus pandemic lockdown. (UPDATE: Just for clarification this review was originally written in June of 2020 and is just now being posted, making it a little late, Megan listed our property in March 2020 and we were not able to close until May because of complication from the Corona Virus and protest in Charleston.) We bought our place from Megan in 2015, and knew then that we would come back to her when we decided to sell. Our daughter lived there for 3 years while she went to College of Charleston, then we rented our place, for a couple of years before deciding to sell. We were a couple of hours away from Charleston, and really dreading the prospect of having to find contractors to make major repairs/upgrades, managing the repairs upgrades, dealing with the scheduling of the contractors, showings and inspections. All while working around our tenants, and not looking forward to telling them we were selling their place and they were going to have to move and put up with a lot of inconvenience in the meantime from the repairs, showings, and inspections. We gave Megan their names and phone numbers. Megan introduced herself, and handled every single detail. When our buyer decided that she had to have the place before our tenants lease was up, Megan kept our tenants calm, and even found a place for one of the tenants to live, so they could move out early, to keep the sale together with our buyer. The sale was extended because of the corona virus and the protest in Charleston, but we never had to come to Charleston from the 6 weeks before listing while the repairs were being done until the day before the closing. There may be other great real estate agents in Charleston, But I can promise, you will never find a better one, than Megan Alexander. 2020
