We reached out to Andrea in the summer of 2018 to begin our search for a home in the Northern Neck area of Virginia, relocating from Chicago. We let her know it would be a number of months before we would be looking to buy. She was not put off by this at all, and began sharing homes with us right away that she thought would match our interest. We first met with her in August to see some homes. She was warm and welcoming and shared her knowledge of the area.
We visited again in March. Andrea had worked with us to put together a list of 20 houses we hoped to visit while we were there. She was patient with us as we went through each house, some multiple times, and quick to pick up on what we liked or didn't like about each home. Based on our first couple days of viewings we had cut the list roughly in half. By the end of the week, we had found THE house and put in an offer, which was accepted before we left town.

Andrea had open, honest, and helpful conversations with us throughout the negotiation process. She caught several areas where we would want specific language added due to the nature of the home and our situation.

Andrea's amazing service did not stop there. Since we were looking at a long-distance move, Andrea attended the home inspection, routinely following up with the seller's agent to check on the progress of requested repairs or required tests. She did the walkthrough with the seller's agent and then gave us our own virtual walkthrough the next day, pointing out issues she had found with repairs to make sure we filled out the correct papers to have those fixed.

Throughout the process, Andrea was incredibly responsive and helpful. In our minds, she went above and beyond, making us already feel welcome in our new home town.
