Cort Dietz has been a tremendous help to us as we purchased a home near Hillsboro, MO. We live out of state so we relied on Cort for every aspect of the purchase including referrals to local businesses for the home inspection, painting, carpet cleaning, and more.
When we learned from our lender that flood insurance was required on the property, Cort worked with the seller's agent to have an engineer inspect the property and issue an elevation certificate. Cort submitted the elevation certificate to FEMA to have the zoning changed to remove it from the 100-year flood zone. He negotiated an agreement for the seller to pay the flood insurance premium until FEMA updates the flood map. Without Cort's expertise in this area, we would not have completed the home purchase.
Cort kept us informed throughout the entire process. He is always available when you need him. We have never worked with a better realtor.

I believe it was fate when randomly requesting to view a home, Cort responded. As a first time home buyer Cort was the absolute perfect fit. My fiance and I are started out completely clueless about the real estate business and the process of purchasing a home. Cort was patient and kind while still being upfront and honest. He will not let you place an offer on something he doesn't believe in or thinks is not in his client's best interest. No matter what type of advice an outsider gave me I knew I didn't have to worry because I trusted Cort's knowledge and word 100%. He has so much background in so many things besides real estate I felt like he could walk around the house and tell me exactly what needed work and might be an issue moving forward, and he did! He stood by us for almost a year to help us find the perfect house and not once did he make us feel like a bother. When FINALLY purchasing our home there were never any hold ups on Cort's side of things, everything went smoothly. I will recommend Cort to everyone I meet as he is seriously the best of the best.
